Dr. Lawrence and Coral Kennedy, along with the congregation of North Church, have a dream that is born of the Holy Spirit and a story of obedience to Jesus' command to preach the gospel and make disciples.  Together, they continuously launch bold and innovative programs to meet the needs of God's people.

Message From Dr. Kennedy

On June 26 and 27 of 2008, I attended the extended revival in Lakeland, Florida at Ignited Church where Canadian Evangelist, Todd Bentley, has been used of God in a phenomenal way with the manifestation of Signs and Wonders accompanying the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom.  Along with thousands of others, I witnessed numerous miracles that were verified by parents and family as well as documented by medical reports provided by physicians.  As a minister of the Gospel for over forty-years, I am fully cognizant that what I and others witnessed and are continuing to is not a work of Mr. Bentley, but a work of the Holy Spirit of God.  This source if manifestation of the miraculous in the ministry of Mr. Bentley is truly the Holy Spirit of God.

It has been brought to my attention of Mr. Bentley's checkered background prior to his decision to follow Christ as a young man.  With this in mind, "I hold to the theological position that when a person accepts Christ as Lord and Savior, he/she becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus; what is old has passed away- look, what what is new has come, (2 Corinthians 5:17)!  Throughout my ministry I have proclaimed that God is a redeeming God as well as a God of forgiveness.

As Pastor of the North Church and President of Church on the Rock International, I support the work of the Holy Spirit and the acts that are taking place in the ministry of Mr. Todd Bentley.  Our prayers are with him.  We pray that he will walk with God, stay humble and remain close to the Master during these days of this mighty ou-pouring of the Holy Spirit.
